Unique Gift Ideas For Dog Lovers

Unique Gift Ideas For Dog Lovers

Run out of ideas and trying to find that extra special gift for the dog lover in your life? Don’t worry any longer. Have a look at these unique dog lover gifts and let them spark your creativity. You could even combine a few ideas and make a personalized dog breed gift basket!

Give a door bell cover emblazoned with a particular dog breed. For the dog lover who has practically every other dog breed gift, this unique door bell cover is a great way to show who helps “rule the house”.

Is your dog lover also a computer enthusiast? Then consider a mousepad adorned with their favorite dog breed. This gift would get lots of mileage and is very practical too. Combine a mousepad with a screensaver of their pet to complete the “makeover” of their computer area.

For the dog lover and avid golfer, golf club covers in a dog breed theme would be a great touch for any golfer’s bag. What about a golf towel personalized with their pet’s picture and name?

Consider a gift for both the dog lover and their dog. What about a beautiful set of dog breed wind chimes? Make sure to throw in a new ball or chew toy for their dog too, so they can enjoy being outside together.

To help carry all those doggy accessories like leashes, snacks, and water, consider giving a tapestry tote bag with the dog breed. Or get 2 tote bags, one for the dog lover and one for the dog!

Another great and unique idea is a garden flag of their favorite dog breed. Some of the more expensive dog breed gifts are outdoor statues. You can find nearly every kind of dog breed in the form of a statue and some are so life-like it is difficult to tell the difference!

Of course, every dog lover appreciates a frame to hold their beloved pet’s picture. Have a frame engraved with the dog’s name for an extra special touch.

Visualizing Your Home Theater

Visualizing Your Home Theater

What do the words home theater mean to you? A big screen TV in your living room with surround sound speakers hidden behind the couch, or a custom designed room with every possible high-end audio/video equipment and dedicated theater seating? The choice comes down to your level of use . . . and your pocketbook.

Start with the room you plan to use as your home theater. If it’s your multi-purpose living room, think about mounting a flat-panel LCD HDTV on the wall and finding one of the many artistic solutions for hiding the screen when it’s not in use. Make sure the furniture that houses your audio/video components has a cable management system to hide power cords and sufficient ventilation. Rear wheels on the cabinet make accessing your connections much easier!

There is a large range of possible entertainment centers: a plasma console or wall system, an entertainment center with bookcase or storage, cabinets to hold a large screen display. Be sure to measure your room accurately to know what will fit best in the space you have available. If you’re redoing a room or moving to a new place, now is a good time to prewire the room for audio, video, security and communication needs, including cabling for future technologies. It makes for an elegant, nearly invisible installation of equipment, with more leeway in the type of furniture you choose. Another possibility — if your “home theater” room also includes your computer desk, think about using your PC to store and play your favorite MP3 files, patched through an amplifier.

There are so many choices — media stands, audio stands that hold 5 to 10 AV components, TV stands for any size television (some loaded with features like wire management systems, adjustable shelves, open ventilation, tempered glass) — as well as choices in styles and finishes, from the beauty of natural hardwoods to contemporary design elements. With such a broad variety of audio/video and other furnishings, mounts and accessories, even the most demanding A/V enthusiast or home decorator will be satisfied with the way your home theater looks.

Once you’ve housed your components, the next most important choice involves your seating. Do you prefer watching movies in your home theater from the comfort of a recliner, cuddled with someone special on a couch, or from dedicated custom theater seating? Do you prefer seating covered with micro fiber fabric, microfiber suede, faux leather or premium leather? Does a home theater conjure up visions of kids with large tubs of buttered popcorn, beer and chips for the guys watching the big game, or romantic glasses of wine? Choose an easy-to-clean surface, and have sturdy tables close at hand to your seating.

As long as you’re visualizing your perfect home theater set-up, remember to connect the lighting and the home theater system to a master remote control. With a few taps of your finger, the DVD spins, the lights dim, you sink into your seat, and enter a galaxy far, far away . . . right from home.

The Akashic Records

The Akashic Records

The Akashic Records is a new age term for what is also
known as “The Book of Life.” It is comparable to the
universe’s super computer system and it acts like the
central storehouse for every individual who has ever
lived.

The Akashic Records store a reservoir of events, every
deed, word, feeling, thought and intent that any
person has ever had in the history of the world.

It is also believed that the Akashic Records are
interactive and they have influence upon everyday
life, relationships, feelings and beliefs.

While commonly compared to a super computer system,
there is no complex of computer systems and collective
databases that can even come close to the memory or
recording capacity of the Akashic Records.

They contain the entire history of every soul since
the beginning of creation and continue to record on a
daily basis. Every thought, every deed is recorded.

The Akashic records mold our very consciousness. They
are an unbiased judge and jury, which try to guide,
educate and change each individual to become the very
best.

Information referring to the Akashic Records can be
found in folklore, in myth and throughout the Bible.
This Book of Life can be traced as far back as the
Semitics and included the Arabs, Assyrians and the
Hebrews.

Among these people there was always the belief that
there was some sort of celestial tablets in existence
that contain the history of mankind and spiritual
information.

The Akashic Records are more than an account of data,
they also have an ongoing creative stimulus.
